How to save more money while buying new computer - English
Want to buy a new computer?
Drowning with all the options available to you?
Stressed by the high price of computers today, if you have a limited budget to buy a computer, you should try to get as many options as possible for your money.
Here are 3 common ways someone can save money when buying a new computer:
1) Shop for the best deal.
Feels very clear. But many do not realize that they do not need a fast, expensive computer with "extras". In fact, if you are already using an old computer, even a less expensive new computer will be a big upgrade. If you do not know much about computers, you can learn a lot by shopping. Ask a lot of questions, compare prices, compare features, and then find the best price. Shop at your local electronics store and look for the best deals online. You will be amazed at how much money you can save by shopping!
2) Install your own "extras"
Most of the computers you find in the store already have a lot of additional software installed. While this is convenient, saving money is not always the best way for you. Also, although these extras are great, you do not always need them. You can often find good deals by shopping separately for your own software extras (word processor, anti-virus, popup blocker, spyware removal, games, etc.). And some of these you can get for free. So before you buy a "fully loaded" computer, ask yourself if you really need all the extras, and then shop around to see if you can buy a scale down computer - and get the extras yourself for very little!
3) Do not buy an extended warranty
If you are not a computer "techie", extended warranties offered by computer retailers may seem like a good idea. After all, who needs to pay for the service after you buy a computer? But keep in mind that most computers come with a warranty, and most computer problems occur early (when you still have the warranty running) or much later (when buying a new computer is cheaper). Technology is changing very quickly these days. So check whether the increased cost of the extended warranty is worth it. And, if you really feel you need an extended warranty, ask to buy at a lower price. Not all retailers will negotiate a warranty, but some will. And whether you buy an extended warranty or not, make sure all your files are periodically backed up.
If you have an unlimited budget, consider yourself lucky. And if you do computer business while trying to reduce the price, make sure you get what you want. At any rate, buying something that does not fit your needs is not a good deal.
I hope this will save your hard earned money.
